One story home or two? Are the cabinets attached to the wall and the ceiling or to a soffit?

There is likely to be a leak from the cold or hot water supply pipes that are fitted in your kitchen ceiling. It has saturated the wall and is now seeking a way down hence leaking from above the cabinet. Listen carefully above the cabinet if there is any spouting sound of water coming from the ceiling. That maybe the likely spot for the leak. To avoid further damage, contact a plumber immediately or more costs will occur (resurfacing the ceiling)

If the poster will come back to answer some questions we could help further. Kitchen supply pipes come from below unless this is a basemnet kitchen. Could be a second story plumbing issue if poster can talk to us more

This happens with me also. After keen observation I concluded that a water pipe joint at the corner of ceiling was leak. To solve it call the plumber!

It can be drain leak, hot or cold water supply leak, shower pan leak, condensation leak, leak through grout in tiles... and more. As Ballenberg1 said above, poster has to come back to us to give us more details...
