    You have to be very careful drilling through tile, it cracks very easily. I usually put masking tape over the drill point and use a high speed drill to run a masonry or tile bit. After that, you can switch to a hammer drill but be very careful here too. What are you trying to accomplish? If you are drilling into a block wall, you don't need a hammer drill and many of the good masonry bits, run at slow speed, will go through concrete too. You can use a lead anchor or drill a pilot hole and a SPAX screw.
