Hi my hair is naturally a light brown and the dye always fades to an orange colour?
Hi I have naturally light ashy brown hair and I've always dyed my hair a brown shade whether light or dark and it always fades to orange colour and I hate it I want to get back to my natural colour but when I dye it it also fades quickley and the dye does not last long enough for me to enjoy it. Why does this happen and how can I get back to my natural colour or prevent it from fading to and orange? Please help

This happened to my friend, she has tried everything to get back to her natural colour but it just goes more ginger every time, the reason for this is because its stripped out all the last hair dye you have ever dyed your hair because remember if you want to get back to your natural colour you will need to get out every bit of hair dye from the first time you dyed your hair.
If you don't want to wait to long then you can always go to a salon to get colour correction and get dyed a colour which is the same as your natural roots.

You can add a little bit of ash hair color in your dye it will kill the orange or red hues.
To help your color stay longer you can use a good shampoo and conditioner for colored treated hair, some conditioners have sunscreens.
Avoid wetting your hair in a chlorinated pool and please wear a hat in the sun.
    Hope this help
