Worth it to unclog Main Line?
We have located the main line coming from the house. It looks to be clay, we figured it would be cast iron. Everything is clogged up. The toilet in the main bathroom is off and put aside. Sewage comes up the secondary bathroom shower. I'm guessing it's clogged somewhere down the line, or a tree root broke in since it may be clay. I have a roto rooter estimate of $300 just to open up the line and run a camera down. Is it worth it? I'm in ATL area and don't know how pricing is.

    Hi Phillip...

$300.00 sounds reasonable to clear the drain line AND send a camera down the drain.

If you are not comfortable with the pricing you can always call a competitor and get an estimate from them... see if they will install the toilet back in place for the same price!

Pop back once they clear the line and finish using the camera and let us know what they discovered for you. We have lots of experience with this topic, OK?
