Here's a link that will give you the info you need. It's from the house rabbit society, and I trust this site completely, they really know their bunnies.

To add, your vet can also help you decide on food, but check your local pet store to learn about the different foods there.

I have to disagree. Most vets don't know anything about rabbits, it's a specialty, and most don't bother to go far enough to learn about these little fur babies.

In my area we have at least 10 vet clinics within a 10 minute drive. Of all those vets only one is a rabbit expert. I'm lucky. Most people can't even find a rabbit vet in their area.

As for pet stores. If you know what you're looking for, great, you can go and see what selection they have. If you don't know what you're looking for than asking a pet store employee is not advisable. I have never in my life met a pet store employee that knows anything at all about rabbits or what they need. Most of them don't even know that rabbits aren't rodents, or that they can't vomit. One of my friends gave her rabbits hairball medication because a pet store employee told her it was okay. Hairball meds for a rabbit can be deadly.

The site I linked is the best out there for rabbit care. These people really know what they're talking about, as do I. Please take a look at the link there's a list on what you can feed your bunny and yes, that list is safe for rabbits.
