I tried resetting IPOD touch using Reset option in the Settings Menu to delete all existing data. Now the IPOD is not starting and is not getting detected in Itunes Devices. Kindly help if there is any solution.

Try switching it off completely.

Now Press and Hold the "home button" for 5 seconds.
Still holding the "Home Button" plug in the Ipod.
