My girlfriend and I worked together. We had to hide it. There were always rumors with bad intentions all the time.
I left that work place and went to a distant one. Rumors came back online 3 months after I was gone. I lost it and made a lot of noise about it. Obviously our relationship came clear to everyone.

She is really upset. A friend of hers gave her a rumors version and when I made noise it showed up it was false. I showed her that this friend was not actually a friend. This friend of her started calling her a liar and denying all that was said before.

My girlfriend just desappeared, won't call, won't reply to my email. She is in a very distant place, I can't go there.

What do I do ? The fact is that I hurt her a little bit, in order to protect her. I hurt her bringing all this up, I protected her showing that this friend she had was fake and this rumors with bad intentions will definitely stop.

Please tell me what to do, she completely cut me off her life : (

The fact that she got caught didn't sit well with her. I guess that's what happens when you aren't honest.

Leave her alone. Sounds like a major screw up, and she was tired of all the drama at work.

You don't do anything. You sit back and leave her be, if she wants to come back it's completely her decision and she'll figure that out on her own, and then you'll have the ultimate choice of if you want her back or not but, until then leave her alone, go no contact and start doing things to get your mind off it, and ignore the rumors, I'm assuming your not 16, so don't act like it or let it bother you.

Maybe you should make her remember about memories past.. about your lovely memories.. really a good memories.. or you just ask her what if you sick or something..
