    I was just diagnosed with trichimoniasis, my boy friend told me that you can get it from sitting on a toilet 45 minutes

    Good thing it is curable. Get your boyfriend tested and get treated and yes there are many ways of possibly getting this without having spread sexually.

    I am not sure who all I am replying t I thought this was supposed to be private. I have received 3 different answers and thank you, but is this really private. Also, am I suppose to answer every post separately I would rather do that than spread my business

    First, you reply to the thread as you did, But where did you get the idea this was private? This is a public forum and anything posted here is open to view from anyone on the Net. This is explained in the Terms of Service you agreed to when you signed up.

    Short answer. No, you cannot get trich from sitting on a toilet. It is considered one of the sexually transmitted diseases, although not a reportable STD as is syphilis for example.

    If you have it, you got it from your boyfriend. If you are being treated, he must be treated as well. Now you need to find out where he got it from.

    And this is far from private, it is searchable on Google and can be read by anyone that wants to read. This is a public forum, and not private. You merely answer by posting an answer in general or no answer if there is no need to give follow up
