    I would really like to know what is a reasonable amount to spend.What do you think?

    The prices for uncontested divorce vary widely. From $100 to $ 10,000 and more. It is up to you.

    Attorney fees vary with the area you live in and the complexity of the case.

    If you've had a lawyer quote the $3000.00 and you think it's too much, why not call around to several others and get their rates too?

    Ive known of several people who did uncontested divorces without an attorney and it only cost them court costs.

    It all depends on what you have going. Children together or not. Home owners, etc.
