    Blood sugar control
Always had my sugar under control with metformin. But since using warfarin. My
Blood sugar is out of control. Despite not eating. Anyone else have a problem with
    Two diabetes.

Yes, my husband did - was very, very difficult to stablize his blood sugar after his heart attack. He had to go "off" the warfarin" and took Plavix (which was not nearly as effective and he had 3 more heart attacks).

What does your Doctor say? Sometimes, due to side effects and interaction, these decisions are impossible to make - take this or that or what?

People trying to lose weight who are NOT diabetic can take Metformin as well.

Obviously by prescription - I'm surprised. Never heard this before.

Yes, by script. Although her FIL is a PA... maybe they are trying something new?
