Kitchen faucet won't move from side to side
In March of this year I purchased a Glacier Bay (Model 224-850) kitchen faucet single handle w/sprayer. About a month ago the faucet was getting very tight when moving it back and forth from side to side into each sink. Now it won't move at all! I purchased it from Home Depot and had it installed by the company that installed my counter tops. I noticed that the Spout Trim Ring (part # A66D559) and washer was not attached (I found those 2 parts later). Should these parts have been attached or are they optional? I haven't tried to take it apart yet until I found out if this should have been included in the installation.

You should be under warranty for parts, I don't know about the labor.
The "O" rings,(see image for the two black "O" rings) have swelled up and must be replaced. If your doing this yourself remove the handle and the retaining nut that secures the spout and pull it up. Replace the "O" rings and purchase a small can of "Plumbers Heat Proof Grease" and lube the "O" rings and the inside of the spout before reinstalling. Good luck, Tom
