My kitchen sink sputters when I turn it on. It just keeps chugging. How do I get rid of this noise?

Does your faucet have a spray. IF so activate the spray head and let us know if the chugging stops. If it does, your spray diverter is acting up. Many can be taken out and cleaned, or you may be lucky enough to quickly press and release the spray head over and over to loosen up the diverter. Let us know how things go.
