Wanting the red out of my chocolate hair.
I colored my hair a dark chocolate and it turned out black I read where lemon juice will lighten and it worked perfect. Now my chocolate hair is getting reddish tints when in the right light. Should I recolor with the same brand as before only a couple shades lighter and in COOL? Thanks!!

Get some root touch up and use it on the red areas. You might want to get the same shade of brown as your hair.

Does it matter what kind of touch up it is? I had used clairol perfect 10 but I don't remember them having just a touch up for roots. Also the red is really all over should I just saturate my head? Thanks again for all your help!

Yes.. it's Clairol and it's called Root Touch Up. If your hair is short one should do it. If its long or has a whole lot of red you need to cover... I would go for just a box of hair color. If you buy the hair color, buy a soft toohbrush and use to apply to the areas you want to cover.:)
