    Inside of a disconnect box
I am installing a hot tub and needed to know about the neutral bus bar and the ground bus bar. How do I look at these and know which one is which.

The Ground Bar is screwed directly to the enclosure, and will have greens and/or bare wires. A Neutral Bar will have the white wires and will be isolated from ground. They are at the same potential and should have Zero volts between them.

Thank you for this simple answer to my question. Most everything else I have read gave me way too much information... hope you have a great weekend!

To add to the above, The white carries current and the ground is attached to all metal parts of the system, if a hot wire brakes free in a box, instead of becoming live, it shorts to ground and trips breaker.
