    This is worded a little different. When a water pump starts it increases the pressure,volume and/or flow of water. We do not talk about water qualities is terms of speed. Pressure and volume pretty much cover water other than temp

    Toby, you should have a pressure gauge near the pressure tank. Turn on a faucet, then watch the gauge. See what happens when your pump kicks in. Does pressure continue to fall, or begin to rise?
