Yes it is not illegal to date. However, since you are a minor You are still subject to your parents control. Your parents have to approve your dating. If they don't approve then he could get in legal trouble if he tries to date you.

If he's smart he will recognize you are jail bait and stay away. If you are smart you will keep your legs closed until you are physically, emotionally and financially ready to have a child.
