    Tub overflow
    Hello,

We live in a newly contructed home and the tubs have no overflow (hole or vent). Is this now common ? When showering tub will hold water (about 2 inches) then finally drain after 4 or 5 minutes into your shower time. Just seems weird.

    Thanks

"Just seems wierd." It is weird! As a safety feature to prevent flooding all tubs should have a overflow. Something's wrong with the drainage if the tub won't drain away water while showering. Very weird! I would call my builder and complain. Let me know, Tom

    Speedball1,

I thought it was weird. We are renters and will report it to our landlord.

    Thanks for your help.
