The neighbors in the duplex we live in had 2 dogs. They moved and the landlord is doing major inside renovation. The first few days much banging around, carpets, flooring torn up. Can the fleas travel over to our side. About three days after this our cat started scratching and found fleas all over. Is this possible?

We have lived here 20 years and have never had this problem, even with 3 cats.
