Can't tell you that, howard, but we are always suspicious about questions regarding Ghana. As far as we can determine, there is a wide range of scams coming from Ghana. Apparently they meet someone on line and then extort money out of them through various schemes. So I would be careful about sending money there.

They apply for a passport for their nation, and a visa from the US to enter, total cost about 300 dollars.

Air line tickets can be prepaid to airport ( slightly higher) so they can't be cashed in.
