Do probation officers have rights to veiw your account on Facebook anytime they wish
Depends on the offence and judgement/probation requirements.
If it is public of course anyone can go to it anytime they want.
Next they don't have to have a warrant to search you or your home, I would bet ( but don't have any case law on it) that your posting on Facebook would be open and included in their rights to search.
Of course they have a right to view your profile.
What they can't do is demand that Facebook hands over the data-store--internal user information, and it is ginornous--it collected on you, not without an order from the court.
