I had 10 years multiple entry b1/b2 visa through my company in india. I never used that visa to travel to US, instead, I went to US on h4. After few months, I was able to find job and they sponsored a new h1b. I worked there for 2 years and left the job and applied for h4. I got my h4 approved, stayed for 4-5 months and moved to canada. My question is : Is my b1/b2 visa still valid?

The key is if you change status while in US, your B visa will be terminated BUT if you leave US and apply for a new visa... in this case B visa will still be valid. You can have more than one type of visa in a passport but you will be able to use them one at a time.

I entered US in 2006 on H4 and changed to H1b in Dec 2006, changed back to H4 in Apr 2009. But never changed to b1/b2 while I was in US. Does that mean the B1/B2 visa is canceled?
