Hey everyone just a real quick question. I'm wondering how long it takes to transition from the pill to the shot for the shot to be fully effective? Also is there any difference between the pill and shot> I have heard rumors it turns girls of and some other things. Any help would be great! Thank:)

There will be very little transition time, maybe a week, if you go directly from the pill to the shot.

I'm not sure of what rumors you heard, but the shot can cause increased bleeding in some women, yet others experience complete cessation of periods. Weight gain is another possible side effect.

Just heard about the weight gain and depression and also that it turns some girls sex drive off. But thanks for the input!
