YES! Leaving your puppy is fine... I have a maltese right now. He is fine for about 9-10 hours once your dogs get used to your daily routine he'll be fine!remember after you come back from work give it as much as attenision you give to your child or husband... >Edited<

You don't think it's unfair that you leave your puppy alone for hours on end?

I do. In my opinion, I believe that if a person is going to be gone that long every day, that a person shouldn't have a puppy.

I have no idea what you are talking about - if you are answering a post you have to go to that post, hit "quick reply," type in your reply and send it.

I would not leave my dog alone for 9 to 10 hours.

Please don't use this site to advertise puppies for sale - it's against AMHD rules and many of us feel that it is irresponsible to purchase an AKC (or designer) dog when thousands are dying every week, homeless and in shelters. The people on the site you recommend are selling crossbred, unregistered puppies, at $650 each. This is a business enterprise.

NO! It is not all right.

It is not natural for a puppy to be ALONE for 9-10 hours a day.

You should find a doggy daycare to put your dog in while your at work.

How would you feel being left alone in a room for 10 hours a day with not oursource to go potty, no one to interact with? Pretty darn bored!

He may be OK now, but later you will see the behavioral issues associated with dogs being isolated from the world.

I feel sorry for your dog.

Where'd the puppy talk come from? I don't see it?

I think we might have an advertisement that was disguised as a question/answer.

The title is the question being answered.

I have cleaned up this post,

IF you want to answer dog questions, answer the OP questions and stop fighting and taking to each other and ignore the OP.
