I purchased a used kenmore 70 series washer model 110.24712300. When I ran it the first time at the end all the clothes were still soaked. I realized that it wasn't spinning. I set it to spin again and started it with the lid open. The machine started but still did not spin. I helped it out with my hand some and it spun slowly for a minute then stopped. I then removed the clothes and attempted this again. It started spinning at the correct speed but again I had to give it a nudge to get it started. I tried this a few times with some clothes, all clothes, no clothes and it only worked when I helped start it and when there were no clothes in it. I am in contact with the person I bought it with and hopefully I won't get a bad deal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also FYI the lid switch has been removed and that is not affecting it.

The person I purchased it from repaired it. He said it was the clutch. Don't need any feedback now.
