Kittens not properly cared for are susceptible to upper respiratory infections and distemper. How old are the kittens, and did you get them quite young. Usually kittens like this have not had enough mothers milk to sustain them through infections.

You need to take them all to the vet to be checked over for infections and any other problems. One kitten dying is sad. Two kittens dying of the same thing, is a problem that could affect all of them.

I personally am a CAT PERSON so I would obviously know a lot about cats/kittens. Ok, so your cat/kitten is having breathing problems right? If so and you don't know what is wrong then you NEED to take him/her to the vet if you can. If you don't have the mother with you, and this is a kitten, you need to get some cats milk and try to feed it to the kitten. I HOPE FOR THE BEST OF WHATEVER HAPPENS TO YOUR KITTEN/CAT!!! :) I'm also sorry that this has happened. :/

Hi Victoria. And how does one go about getting some 'cats milk' for the kittens ? That is a particularly lousy suggestion unless you can get another nursing cat to feed the kittens. Very unlikely. There are formulas available from the vet that can be used.

They actually sell a "Whiska's" brand 'cats milk'. That's exactly what it's called, Cats Milk. Maybe that's what the OP was talking about?

Victoria, you're 13, and having cats doesn't mean you know a lot about cats.

Please don't type in bold, it's annoying to read, just stick with the standard font.

It's great that you have an interest in animals, and that you love cats, but please be respectful of the other people on this site, many of them are far older and have had a lot more experience with animals.
