    How can I file for abondonment with no money and is this abondonment
    Separated from my husband on oct. 23 2008 because I came home my son was completely soaked needed fed and was crying his eyes put while my husband was plaing video games I also have suspected him leaving him alone he was 4 months at the time since then I have tried to get him to at least see him or he can take him with his parents around and if he does its cause I ask him over and over I am done with him now I want a divorce I want his rights tooken away cause I feel like he's abandoning him he don't try to contact at all is this abondment and why won't anybody help me they all say they can't do anything till they get ahold of him I have no money to afford anyone and I want to move on but I can't with no help.I don't want to worry about him being there then not being there for his son what can I do please

    First, there is no abandonment here. There is a sticky note at the top of this forum that discusses this. I suggest reading it. There is also another sticky note dealing with termination of rights. I suggest reading that as well, since it explains why you won't get his rights taken away.

    Also, it would help if you typed your question with full sentences and grammar. It was hard to understand what you typed and we need to understand to help.

    When you separated in 2008 was that done through the courts? Have you filed for divorce? It would seem he's not exercising his rights so what difference would it make to get a TPR, even if you could? Is he paying support or did you even file for support?
