    Hello j:

Like ANY past due bill, they'll send you to collections.

They can't put out a warrant for your arrest because I went in front of a judge for these fines?

    Hello again, j:

They COULD, of course... But, it's a TRAFFIC ticket, and they don't want you in jail. They want your MONEY.

    Hello again, j:

You're welcome... I didn't mention that they'll probably suspend your drivers license, too. But, EVEN then, getting stopped with a suspended license won't put you in jail.. For sure it'll compound your legal troubles, though...

Do you think they will issue a warrant if I am on probation but the court costs are separate from my probation I plan to pay all of the fines this week?

I am on probation for a dui but the court costs I received are different court costs than what I have to pay for probation do you think it could still violate me?

This is part of the issue, how was the arrangement to pay the fine and court costs arranges.

Were you put on unsupervised probation till fine was paid, ( very common some places) or what arrangement was reached.

But yes some courts can and will put a warrant out for you for failure to comply with court order ( contempt) and they do a funny thing, the bail will be set at all the money you owe plus the new court costs. That way they will be sure to get their money this time

    Hello again, j:

What I said in response to you posting your phone number, is that you have a LARGER legal problem than you posted. It's coming out one post at a time. Now, apparently there's a warrant.

If you want to lay out your ENTIRE legal problem from start to finish, I'll give you an answer. But, I'm not going to do this one post at a time.

I was arrested for dui last year was put on probation July 2010
I had some other traffic tickets that I hired a lawyer for I was given the fines plus court costs to pay I am over 30 days late on the court costs which I plan to pay this week so I can eliminate this problem.

    Hello again, j:

That's all you can do then. I couldn't tell you what your PO will do about it.

So that's the issue as short and sweet as possible

Yes, not paying them can be used by your PO to violate your Probation, so you need to get them paid as soon as possible.
It does no matter if they are not though the PO and is a different case.
