I have a 1918, marbled maple, upright Adam Schaf piano. What is it worth?
Piano is 54" high with a 14 1/2" wide upright compartment. Hasn't been used in several years. Played only by an operatic singer. The finish is still glossy and beautiful. Has one chip in veneer about 1"x1" on right bottom side of keyboard. Needs to be tuned, needs cover for B flat (middle C) key, and 3 stiker key pads. All ivories intact. All keys play with no softning or rebound. Actually sounds quite beautiful acoustically because of the workmanship. Can play songs even with it out of key and they sound almost right. It had major overhaul a few years ago before my mother-in-law passed away. Nobody left in family to play or use this incredible instrument. Year confirmed by last technician who checked serial number and then wrote information in cabinet. How much can I sell it for?
