    Sample problems for work with solutions?
    Please give me some... URGENT, have a report tomorrow and still confused about this topic, don't know how to discuss WORK in front of the class. Can somebody help me? Please :|

    The problem is... Physics is a vast subject and there are more than an dozen different topics with all a range of levels. If you don't provide more information, we won't be able to help you...

    Ok, I'm not sure what level that is (the levels are different in my country... )

    Here are a couple, with increasing difficulty.

    A box of mass 5 kg is pushed along a horizontal path by a force of 50 N along 20 m. Find the work done on the box.

    The same box is now pushed along a slope of inclination 30 degrees with the horizontal with a force of 50 N again for 5 m along the slope. Find the work done on the box. Find also the gain in potential energy of the box.

    The box is now dropped from the height it was raised to. Find the speed with which it hits the ground, neglecting air resistance.

    Can you try out these and tell me if there are things that you don't know how to do, which do haven't done.
