Have a slab house, and the main is by the sink and dishwasher. The water has been going for hours and the floor around the main is very warm. I have no leaks from faucets in house.

You probably have a leak in a hot water line under the slab. Turn off the cold water input valve to your water heater and call a plumber.

Let me tell you how we address a under slab pressure leak.
Because water will seek the path of least resistance the leak may be some feet away from the hot spot so we call in a leak detection service , such as Sleuth" to pinpoint the source.
They will open up the slab, dig down and expose the leak and bag the dirt. We then come in and repair the leak, fill the hole and run a patch on the slab. That's how it's done in my area, Good luck, Tom

I agree that it sounds like a leak on a hot water line under the slab. The leak detection company that you call will make a smallish (18 inch x 18 inch or smaller) hole in the slab of your floor, and will dig down, depending on where you live from 8 inches to 14-15 inches, depending on the freeze line, to expose the leaking pipe. You can also call your homeowner's insurance company. Often the insurance will cover the cost of the leak detection company as well as the cost to remove the slab, and access the pipe. They will not likely cover the cost of cutting the pipe, and the labor to repair the pipe, not the repair materials, but they are likely to pay for the replacement of your slab, as well as the flooring above it to get your home back into good shape. The job will not take too long and while the prospect of breaking a hole in your slab does not sound like fun, it is not as bad as you think. Make sure to hold onto the damaged piece of pipe as your insurance adjuster may want to see it. Only an insurance claims agent can tell you for sure, but if it is a covered loss, it will certainly be less painful. In the meantime, you can turn off the water valve above your hot water heater, and that will likely stop the leaking and minimize any damage tat is being done. IF it will make you feel more comfortable, you can go out to the water meter and check to see if it has stopped moving (a little star or triangle will spin if water is leaking at all). Or you can call someone to come out quickly and find it and repair it.
