    1990 honda civic hatchback...
all right so this is how it all began... I bought this civic... it ran fine for about three days... then every time I would come to a stop it would sputter and then idle normal again... then it just died when I came to a stop... I waited about 15 minutes and it started back up then sputtered and died... now all it does is turn over... I put a new fuel pump, new main relay, new plug wires, new plugs and a fuel filter... my ecu fuse was blown so I put a new one in and now my computer blinks again and I think its throwing a code 16... I would really appreciate all of your help in re-vival of my civic...

Read Sections A and B in the link below and it should get your car running again:

Run the K-Test to make sure your ECM is good; then, focus on the igniter and coil. You can go to Autozone and they will test the igniter and coil for free. Because of the age of your Civic, I would complete the job you've begun and replace the igniter, coil, distributor cap and rotor. Then, barring a problem with the ECM, your core electrical system should be in good shape for many years.

All right thanks... tomorrow I'm going to go get that checked... I have another civic (94) and it doesn't have a map sensor... neither does the 90?? But it ran fine without it??
