    My son will be 18 this month .
    How do I go about stopping cs. There is nothing in the divorce papers about this .so how do I go about this.please advise.

    If there was nothing in the divorce decree about cs then why have you been paying it to start with. I have never seen a decree that did not address how much and how long.

    If your son is still going to school. High School. Then you may be responsible to pay until 19. Some states its until 21. We need to know what state the child support order is from. If your paying to an agency or directly to her? You may need a court order to have it stopped.

    You need to contact your local child support agency. Some states if the child is going to college you still pay for a few years after that. Call your child support agency.

    In some states (like Ohio) you have to petition the Court for your child support to end. Depends on where you are how it is ended. Best to check with your local Child Support office to see what your particular ending procedure is where you live.
