    No, it doesn't break the lease. If you have a written lease then the buyer has to honor it until it ends. If you have a month-to-month or verbal lease then the landlord or new owner just has to give you at least 30 days written notice that your tenancy is terminated.

    The only way it would break the lease is if the lease specifically said that the landlord did not have the right to sell the property during your tenancy.

    Not unless the lease says he can not sell it ( doubt if it does) he is free to sell the property to anyone he wants, ( it is his)
    If you have a written lease, the new owners will have to honor it.

    If it is a month to month rental, he can end that with a month notice anyway.
