I am changing from a White-Rodgers thermostat model #1F79 to a Hunter Model 44550. I have it hooked up and working properly w/the cooling, but am concerned w/the wires that did not have a place on the new thermostat- afraid that the heat or emergency heat will not work. This is how I wired it:

White-Rodgers thermostat Hunter thermostat
W2 (light pink wire) W (light pink wire)
E (white wire) white wire is not hooked up to anything
O/B (orange wire) O/B (orange wire)
R (dark pink wire) RH (dark pink wire)
L (nothing was on this one)
G (green wire) G (green wire)
C (blue wire) blue wire not hooked up to anything
Y (yellow wire) Y/Y1 (yellow wire)

On the new Hunter thermostat, I have left the jumper between RH & RC. RH also has the dark pink wire, but RC has no other wire on it.

Please help - the directions w/the new thermostat were not very helpful.
