How Can I find out who somebody's probabtion officer is if they're on unsuprovised?
I was sexually assaulted by this person, and I know he is on unsuprovised probabtion. An officer advised me to contact his probabtion officer and tell him/her what's been happening.
(He's not only assaulted me, but harassed, stalked and even broken into my home)
However, I can't find his probabtion officer's name because he's on unsuprovised probabation.
How can I find out how to get a hold of his p.o.

Have you not called 911 and reported his actions yet? If not do so immediately, Trust me... THEY can find his PO quicker than you will.

You are at far greater risk than you think if he is already going this far. ANd make sure the Police know about his past and you as well.

Yes, I have on every occasion.
But the police are little help. They keep telling me to call this person, and when I do, they refer me to someone else.

Exactly what state do you live in... its their job to investigate this... not yours to track people down.

Try this... Go to your local State Police barraks... ask to talk to someone in charge.. and not just a desk sergant. Someone is being derelict in their duties.

And maybe it's the 911 operator that is at fault. Look in the phone book and get a direct number to the closest State police.

It's clear whoever you are talking to is not taking this serious.

If you can, go to the county courthouse and give them the details about you being threatened by someone on parole, and that the police refuse to help you. Perhaps they can offer something more.

Worst case... file with the court for a restaining order against this individual.

It's a ticket to jail if they violate it.

Please do not answer in the comment section, few people read them there. Put your answer as a "answer" to your own question.

You will not be given the name of his PO, you can report it to the PO department. But if he is being charged, or arrested
** and if he is not, why not ?
But the PO on a regular basis checks for new charges.

If he is not being charged then there is no evidence of a crime, if there is no evidence of a crime, the PO can not act on it either

If he sexually assaulted you why was he not charged? Something sounds fishy here as the cops would not just tell YOU to find his PO. Sounds like you want to find his PO. If that is the case all you have to do is contact the probation office in person and speak to them. Phone calls are meaningless in most cases and are not acted upon. Personal visits are where it's at.

And if the cops supposedly won't arrest him why haven't you gone down in person and spoken to your local police about being sexually assaulted? What about him breaking into your home? Did you call out the police to take a police report on that as well?
