I am a 20 year old student from Oklahoma. I just moved to Florida I will be going to school here. I am wanting to get residency in both states. I know Florida does not have income tax but that not why. I am wanting to get residency to instate tuition purposes in both states in case I change my mind after being in Florida awhile and choose to move back. Still want my in state tuttion in Oklahoma. I have no problem paying state income tax for Oklahoma.

You can only choose one State as your (primary) residence - that is where you pay taxes, get benefits.

If your plan worked everyone would claim residency in several States in an attempt to get lower in-State tuition.
