Every year my school has a talent show and I really want to sing in it, but I can't decide. I want to sing something by Avril Lavigne or Paramore but I'm not sure what. Which songs do you recommend (and they have to be fairly easy like Noboby's Home or Slipped Away)?

A fairly simple Avril Lavigne song is I'm With You. It's my favorite song of her's.

Paramore has some beautiful songs, here are some acoustic versions that I LOVE and are really easy to sing:

Also, if you're willing to do something other than Avril or Paramore, I'd say try some Disney or Broadway pieces. They're well known and are really fun to sing! Maybe "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid or "On My Own" from Les Miserables. Good Luck in the talent show!

I auditioning for the talent show in my school 2.
And the auditions are in 2 days. I love 2 sing and plus this girl in another class is spreading rumors that I can't sing. And if a back down she going to make my life a misery.
I can't go really high but I'm good.
I need a pop but love song.
And something that isn't really old.

Avril Lavigne just came out with a new album that is pop, and most of the songs on there are about love (if not all of them). They are all pretty high, but some of the songs on Let Go aren't as high and just as good if they aren't too old I guess. I know this is probably to late because now this is April and you posted in March, but I'd love to know what you chose to sing!! I recently sang at the open microphone during my school's behavior blast that they have after every quarter. I thought I did OK but my voice cracked a few times because the song I chose was too high. At least I got a little experience before I audition for the talent show, and people clapped :) I hope you did well for your audition!
