OK this is driving me crazy, which order am I supposed to watch the star wars movies in?

Is it:
Episode I, ii, iii, I've, v, vi (phantom, clones, sith, new hope, empire, jedi)

Or

Episode I've, v, vi, I, ii, iii (new hope, empire, jedi, phantom, attack, sith)

THe former... not the latter which was the dates they were actually filmed.

THe newest three were actually per the timeline the earliest movies... but George Lucas happened to film the Origianl Star Wars (known as A new Hope) first even it it was really the 4th of the series.

When you see them in the correct order Anakin Skywalker will progress from being a young child of a slave to the pre-eminant Science fiction bad guy that actually dies in the end.
