    Missed a couple BC pills
The last time I was at the gyno's she gave me a few sample packs of the birth control that I was already on so I wouldn't have to worry about going to the pharmacies. Well since I had 3 months worth of pills I skipped my period (purposely) for the past 2. I had just started my third month of pills when I lost them somewhere. (I was only a day or 2 into that pack before they were misplaced) 2 days later (today) my boyfriend and I still had sex, we were cautious and used a condom but the condom broke.

Now usually when I miss a pill I start my period the next day. Its only been 2 days since I haven't been able to take my pill and since I know that stress can cause your period to delay, (christmas drama) I'm not stressing too much over it. I just wanted to know if I don't get my period in the next couple of days should I be worried or not? I know this might be jumping the gun asking so soon but I have one of those gut feelings that I should've thought twice before doing anything. Any info would help!

    Thanks

The general formula for missing birth control is: The more pills you miss, the more likely you are to become pregnant. There are no promises, but pregnancies are extremely rare just because two pills have been missed.

If however, you have not had your period within the next few days, you should have a pregnancy test. Along with stress, a missed period can also occur if there is a variation in hormone levels.

Your delayed period may very well be related to stress, however, you must consider the fact that you have missed two periods, already and you should have had a period the day(s) you missed your first pill. If you still do not have your period and your are not pregnant, you should consult with your Physician, you may be having a problem ovulating.

    Hope this answered your question!
