My cinder block foundation had black stuff on it. I thought it was dirt so I pressure washed it off and some of the areas gave off a mildew smell. There is moss growing by a small section of the foundation. Is this mold?

It probably is most likely mold. Would it be possible for you to post an image of the area, please? Also, does the affected area get much sunlight at all?

It gets sun from sunrise until late afternoon or later. I pressure washed the area so the black is gone now. However I will try to take a pic of the area tomorrow and get it on here for you to look at.
