I am setting my shop up with a radiant floor heating system. I am using a hot water tank as the heat source and have the tank wired in on a separate circuit. I have a recirculating pump (120 not 240) to move the warm water through the system and want to put a thermostat on the line to the recirculating pump but am baffled on the wiring. I have 12-2 going into my junction box and 12-2 going from the junction box to the pump. My thermostat has two red wires and two black wires. Do I treat the red wires like white wires? Any help would be appreciated.
