Hi I'm 18 and last month on the 4th I got what I think was my period but it was very light never filling a pad and of dark brown to black color and on the 2nd of this month I got it again still very light never filling a pad and still dark brown to black color I've been feeling dry mouthed and dizzy cramping in my stomach all on the lower part of my stomach but I get them even with out my period please help me... heather aka snowflake

Hi, I have had the same problem before. But I had the brown/black blood for over 7 days then 2 weeks later had it another 2 days.

I wasn't pregnant and I am in the process of checking my hormone levels (blood tests) and checking for ulcers on my ovaries. (ultra sound)

I would suggest taking a pregnancy test if you are sexualy active and if that comes back negative you may need to go to the doctor and have tests done.

It may be nothing though a lot of woman have weird periods every now and then.
