This movie is set in the old days like the movie called "Valant" with Robert Wagner... you know a lot of sword play...
Barbarian steals the throne, puts king in dungeon for 20 plus years. He is not feed but, the king has a magic rug that materializes food when he prays. The barbarian took his wife and his child who is a toddler, raising the boy as his own. The dethroned king gets out of prison 20 years later and much older. His horse is a “Frisian” (Black thick long mane and thick tail) beautiful, also high stepping, beautiful (even in black and white). He encounters different people on his travels to help him find this family, and then he ran into the “Wind Demon”. Who can blow the rocks uphill in every direction the horse and rider backwards. He finds the where his family can be found. The king sends princes out to sword fight the challenger… his father! But he does not know that he is not the son of the sitting king. The prince is fighting his father; his father does not know that he is fighting his son he things the barbarian who stole his wife, son and life. Then the father recognizes his son… at lease I think is how it goes. I am not sure what European country made this movie. I was about 7 years old when I saw it. I want to see it again.
