How long it takes to clean an office space per sq. ft. so I can estimate hourly charg
I am trying to put together my pricings for cleaning offices, but am having a difficult time. I originally was going to charge .22 per sq. ft. This was fine, but I've read that if I were to clean 2,3,4,5 times per week, the price would go down. How exactly does this work? I'm really not interested in pricing by the hour, but am looking for answers as to how long I can estimate time to clean per sq. ft. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Pricing by the sq ft varies all over the board; your location, competition, density, specifications, market, type of account, etc. So to come up with a price per sq ft as a standard usually does not work.

You can however come up with a minimum price per sq ft. take all your costs; labor, supplies, equipment, taxes, admin, etc and profit. Then X 6 or 8 hours (number of hours worked per day) to get a daily rate and then X 52 weeks and divide by 12 (months) to arrive at a monthly total then divide that into a total sq ft are, say 10,000 sq ft. and you will have a minimum sq ft price.

But as I said this is a minimum sq ft price. Make sure that ALL your costs are covered and add profit (usually between 6 to 15% depending on size, market/s, and number of days per week the service is performed.)

    Good luck,
