I had my cartilage pierced on my right ear yesterday. Everything seems to be okay it doesn't hurt, itch or look infected, I am also able to turn the stud. But the top part of my ear is redder than my left ear which has not been pierced. I'm just wondering if this is normal and if it is when should the redness pass?

It's probably just irritation. It's only the second day and as long as it looks healthy, a little redness is normal.

The redness should be gone soon, just keep cleaning it.

Also, if you slept on it, you might have irritated it. Try not to sleep on it, that can be rather painful! :/
