    15amp and 20amp receptacels
    I know it is wrong to use 20amp receptacles on a 15amp circuit. But, is it OK to use 15amp receptacles on a 20amp circuit. Just wondering, because my wife got the wrong receptacle amps for the 20amp circuit. I'm just wanting to know if it is all right to use them, or will it be best to go and get the right amp ratings recepts...

    Yes, 15 amp receptacles can be used on 20 circuit.

    You will only need a 20 amp receptacle if you have a device with a true 20 amp plug.
