I have been able to remove the glass dome that covers the bulb of my harbor breeze fan, but I cannot remove the bulb. My husband broke the glass portion trying. It seems to be spring loaded with 2 prongs on the end. Help!

Make sure the power is off. Get a pair of needle nose pliers and grab the side of the metal part of the bulb. Gently push in and turn the base, right or left depending on how it is mounted. The prongs will release and you can pull the bulb out
