Can adding tap water to your pregnancy test make it positive?
I have tooken two test that were out of date. One said positive and the other didn't. I took a new test and accidentally dropped it in the sink with tap water. It showed negative then when I looked at it thirty minutes later there was a slight blue line making it the positive sign. Am I pregnant?

The water wasn't the issue, the time factor was.

You need to take another new test and read it within the time limit stated on the directions. Some tests will develop a faint line later on which is invalid.

Hope it turns out how you would like it to.

Any type of test that gets contaminated should always be considered invalid. That's why home testing for dna and things like that won't hold up in courts.
