I am so sorry for your loss.

First, you need time to mourn your loss and you need time for your body to be ready to carry a baby again.

Now, you should always be treating yourself as if you are already pregnant. Such as: no smoking, no drinking, no drugs, eat healthy and get plenty of rest. It would also be helpful for you to take a prenatal vitamin. They are now over-the-counter.

Now, this will not prevent another miscarriage. Unfortunately most of the time, especially in the early first trimester, we don't have a particular known cause for miscarrige.

Well, it can be enough time primarily because you lost your baby very early on. The doc's I work for suggest 6 months.

I'm very glad to hear you don't drink, smoke or drug. That's a good beginning right there.
