I've been dating this guy for a few times, very persistent but I don't feel for him!
I've been dating this guy for a little while and we've been on a few dates. A very sweet, persistent guy and respectful, hasn't tried anything yet and loves to surprise me and be sweet. I met him through one of his friends who me and the friend, were flirting for a bit and spoke a couple of times but nothing happened between us. This guy (that's I'm dating) seems to be in competition with the friend and seems that he wants to take care of me just in case the friend comes back around! I did have a bit of feelings toward the friend but nothing happened between us so I left it, I figured he's not ready for anything serious.
Now with this one, he's really nice but I don't feel anything towards him yet and I don't know what to do! I think I want to give myself a chance and see if anything progresses... do you think it's the right thing to do? Should I continue dating him to see what happens?

Go with your gut. He may be nice but it sounds like the attraction just isn't there. Break it off before he starts to think you two are serious.

    I wish

Go with the flow. If something feels unnatural, then stop.

If you want to get to know him better, then spend more time doing so.

He may be a great person. He might make someone a great boyfriend. However, I am concerned that he is showing a possessive personality. When you stop and think about his behavior and attitude about other men like your male friends, do you get any red flags?

If it is just his friend that he acts this way with, then I would ask if he is dating you mainly because of being competitive with his friend.

I would suggest if you continue dating and getting to know him that proceed with your eyes open.

If you're just not feeling him, end it. Thanks but no thanks.

If the chemistry is not there, I'd suggest ending it now.
